The Champagne series from Pioneer marked the turning point from cool products to computer controlled gizmo receivers before the advent of Black Plastic Crap and Home Theatre.

Back in the day I was in the biz I remember those units . They were garbage ! Anything from Pioneer between 1980 ~ 1987 or so was quite simply put JUNK .
